Hello lovelies! Please bear with me while I make the transition back from WordPress to Blogger. I need to go through and insert images and do some more tweaks.

Tour/Giveaway: Sweet Surprise (Sweet, Texas #4) by Candis Terry

“Where you’re concerned, I’m not sure I have any control.”

Fiona swallowed. Something warm and for- bidden swirled in the pit of her stomach, then wound its way into her heart and other vital parts of her body. In the old days she’d tug him closer and take what she wanted. But this was a new day. A new Fiona. A more responsible Fiona who, unfortunately, couldn’t seem to get this man off her mind.
“Then maybe this won’t work out.” She eased her hand from his and instantly missed the fire in his touch.
“Maybe.” Those broad shoulders beneath that fresh cotton T-shirt lifted in a nonchalant shrug. “I’m willing to give it a shot if you are.”
Give what a shot, she wanted to ask. The actual work? Or the sexual tension that ignited between them like gasoline and matches?
A sigh expanded her chest. “If you’re going to work for me there can’t be any flirting. Or touch- ing.”
His smile widened to a grin. “It’ll be a plea- sure working under you.”
Oh boy.

A SWEET Recipe:

Fiona Wilder learned about making pastries from the best chefs in Paris. But she learned everything she knows about cupcakes from her grandmother. Of course, when you're trying to entice the taste buds of a super hot fireman, she knows you have to sex up your game. And nothing does that better than strawberries and cream. Enjoy Fiona's special super secret recipe.

Makes about 2 1/4 cups of frosting.

Mini Review:

I have become a new fan of Candis Terry. Although it was slow to start, it eventually picked up towards the end. Fiona is not part of the Wilder family, but she might as well be. I loved her relationship with everyone. Usually when people divorce, they don't normally get along with the ex's or their family all of the time.

Enter Mike, who is Jackson's best friend...and Fiona's ex-husband. So Mike feels she's off limits. That only holds him back for so long, though. When Fiona needed renovations done to her bakery, Mike was there to help, and with all the time they were spending together, they grew pretty closer and closer.

I am looking forward to seeing what else Ms. Terry has in store for us in this series. Now I just have to wait until July for the next one!
