Hello lovelies! Please bear with me while I make the transition back from WordPress to Blogger. I need to go through and insert images and do some more tweaks.

Tour-Review/Giveaway: The Cowboy and The Angel (Rodeo #2) - T.J. Kline

I am so happy I signed up to review this book for the tour. I will fully admit I did so because of the sexy cover and the word cowboy. :)

At first I was kind of on the fence about Angela. She came off as bitchy-which was exactly what she was supposed to be. I understood that she was trying to get out of the financial hole that their father was digging deeper and deeper every day, but I didn't enjoy her snottiness. But all that didn't last long. The more I read, the more I started to love her grit but I loved her vulnerable side. She didn't come off as whiny, which happens more times than not, but she came off as accepting her situation and wanting to change it but wanting to do it on her own.

And Derek went from sweet to pushing Angela away to being sweet again. Even through all his A.D.D feelings, I thought he was just the bees knees (yes I went there). Did I think he could have trusted his gut instead of going with what his mind was telling him he should do? Yes. Did I think he was being a little hard on himself throughout the book? Some. (I haven't read the first in the series so I'm not quite sure what exactly went down.) But I found him to be a loveable teddy bear who I wanted for my own.

The plot was great and I really liked the secondary characters. I am curious who the next book in this series will be about since Derek's other sister already has someone. Whoever it is, I'll be looking forward to it!
