Hello lovelies! Please bear with me while I make the transition back from WordPress to Blogger. I need to go through and insert images and do some more tweaks.

ScarlettReader's Review of Queenie Baby: Out of Office (Queenie Baby #2) by Christina A. Burke

I want to introduce y'all to one of a few new guest reviewers we have on the blog. I am beyond excited to introduce everyone to ScarlettReader. I asked her to write a little something to introduce herself. And make sure you check out her other reviews. :)

I'm a stay-at-home mom to two very busy pre-teens. Thanks to the wonderful world of technology (i.e. ebooks on my tablet!), I can lose myself in fantasy land while sitting in carpool lines or waiting for music lessons to end. I read three to five books weekly, mostly romantic comedy, suspense, and erotica.

There's no turning back now for temp-by-day and rockstar-by-night, Diana Hudson. She's left Annapolis, Maryland to take a chance on love and to track down the singer who's stolen her song. What starts as a romantic rendezvous with new love on the paradise island of Puerto Rico, quickly becomes a wacky cross-island adventure featuring a high speed guitar chase, a bull fight, and a swashbuckling pirate. Love blooms amid the lush landscape, until a hot bodyguard from Diana's past exposes her new love's secrets, turning her world upside down. Back home on dry land, Diana prepares for the annual Renaissance Fair and a visit from The Grands. With her career heating up, her family closing in, and her heart on the line, how will Diana keep it all together?

Diana, a.k.a. Queenie Baby, is at it again in Queenie Baby: Out of Office. Diana is a magnet for drama and comedy. Between her quest for rock stardom, learning to trust Mark, plus the antics from previous boyfriends, The Grands, and a pirate, I didn't stop laughing until the final page.

I loved the back-and-forth between Diana and Mark. They are perfect for each other, and I love all of Diana's quirky friends! This is a terrific addition to the Queenie Baby series, and I hope Ms. Burke adds many more of Diana's adventures to this series.

Great characters, great plot, great ending - This is definitely a story I will read again and again!!
