Expanded Edition! More Story! More Sullivans!Fans of Bella Andre's Sullivan Series will love this long-awaited print edition of THE LOOK OF LOVE. It features a longer, more-detailed story with all the emotion and sensuality that readers love. Not to be missed!

Sometimes one look is all it takes

Chloe Peterson has vowed never to make the mistake of trusting a man again. Her reasons are as vivid as the bruises on her cheek. So when her car skids off a wet country road straight into a ditch, she's convinced the gorgeous guy who rescues her must be too good to be true.

As a successful international photographer, Chase Sullivan has his pick of beautiful women. He's satisfied with his life—until he finds Chloe and her totaled car on the side of the road in Napa Valley.

With every loving look—and every sinfully sweet caress—the attraction between them sizzles, and Chloe can't help but wonder if she's met the man who may be the exception to her rule.

My Thoughts:

I have read a few Bella Andre books but there are so many and if only I had a money tree in my backyard I would have every book she has written. I am the type of person that when I find an author I like and they have a ton of books published, I go on this reading period of only reading them. So naturally I knew from reading that one book of Bella's that she was one of those authors for me. I was pleasantly surprised to get this book in the mail for her tour for the reissue of her Sullivan books that were already out. I thought, "SCORE!!" because I can start this series from the beginning. And that brings us to today. :)

We open up the book with Chase Sullivan snapping shots of his siblings at his mother's birthday party. Can I say first off that I can just tell by the description of this clan that I would be uber jealous of how gorgeous they all are!! Blasphemy! Anywhoo....Chase loves to capture his family in the way that shines a light straight to the heart of who they are. A private smile here, an evil eye there, and all the while Chase is more than happy to be behind the camera. Well we get the chance to see more intimately into this Sullivan. (One of maaaaaany. It's called birth control people! Jk. Kinda.) After the party, he is on his way to his brother's, Marcus, winery for a photoshoot the next day. And a booty call that night. Hehe. One the way the weather starts to get intense when he notices a vehicle in the ditch on the side of the road and a person walking in the opposite direction of said car. When Chase catches a glimpse of this woman, he is stunned stupid by her beauty. She's not one of the model looking types that he works with on a regular basis but what a real woman is supposed to look. He also has an incredible urge to want to help this stranger which is not something Chase does. But deep down he knows she is important and he instantly decides to make her his. He just has to get her to trust him.

Poor Chloe has not had a stellar day. Her ex-husband needs to get knocked around pretty good to get a taste of his own medicine. I hate when men feel the need to beat on women and children. Be a man and keep your hands to yourself! At least we see straight off the foundation of Chloe's strength by leaving her husband. She values herself more than her pride and that earns instant respect from me. Well, Chloe finds herself in a ditch after she loses traction on the road because of bald tires. Determined to get to a motel and farther away from her ex, a gorgeous man in an expensive car pull us and offers to take her where she needs to go. Using her brain, she's not sure if she can trust her instinct that she can trust HOTSTUFF but talking with him some, she decides that he seems trustworthy enough. Chloe still has reservations when Chase takes her to his brother's winery instead of a motel like she asked but she starts to trust him more and more with the way he acts and reacts to her. Especially a certain scene that would have had any other man testing their willpower. Quite soon their attraction fires up to scorching levels and Chase and Chloe have to figure out whether this is actually love or just lust.

I really liked the characters and the storyline of the book. Chloe was down to earth and could easily relate to a lot of other women. Chase was sexy as hell and was man enough to put his own needs on hold so Chloe could take some necessary time to heal. That being said I did have one issue. Chase was a little too perfect in my opinion. He did everything right all the time and never messed up. But it in no way took away from the book and I can not wait to read the next installment of the Sullivans. I have a feeling I'm really going to like Marcus. ;)
