Round 1
In this corner is admittedly romantic Jenna Wilinski, who’s inherited a rather seedy boxing gym from her estranged father. With it, she can realize her dream of launching an upscale matchmaking business…provided she can take on the very intimidating—and wickedly hot—boxer who stands in her way!

Round 2
In the far corner is former pro boxer Mercer Rowley. He’s the only one who can protect his “home”—even if it is a little run-down— from his determined and feisty little opponent. But man, once the gloves come off, his hands just want to touch her everywhere…

Round 3
This matchup is too close to call. But no matter which contender comes out on top, the other is sure to enjoy every minute of it....

My Thoughts:

Can I tell you a secret? I completely decided to read this book without reading the blurb from the cover. It’s hot!! Want to know the best part though? I wasn’t disappointed with my first read from Meg Maguire. Something that can get on my nerves is when a story doesn’t flow very well or the characters seem a little more on the unrealistic side or their expectations are a little off from reality. There was none of that to be had in this book. Makes me a happy woman!

Jenna dreams of opening her own matchmaking business and the perfect opportunity falls into her lap. She has inherited her late father’s gym. Yes it’s a sad situation to find yourself in but when you haven’t spoken with the man for years, you can’t expect a girl to feel too much guilt for jumping at the bit to make this business successful? Right? Her perception on her deadbeat dad slowly changes when she is shown more than enough evidence that maybe things are not what they seem. Just like with the sexy as sin gym manager, Mercer. He is walking sex on legs. Or at least that’s what I perceived him as. I mean how can he not be? He used to do MMA and we know they are rather fit specimens. Some challenges throw the two together constantly which challenges their desires to stay away from each other. And when they do get together, things are electrifying!

I can honestly say that there is nothing I would actually want to change in this book. It was written so well that every base was covered and it flowed very well. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next in the series.
