Dear Reader,

Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman is a grand thing. Being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's day.

As a love-slave, I know everything about women. How to touch them, how to savor them, and most of all, how to pleasure them. But when I was summoned to fulfill Grace Alexander's sexual fantasies, I found the first woman in history who saw me as a man with a tormented past. She alone bothered to take me out of the bedroom and onto the world. She taught me to love again.

But I was not born to love. I was cursed to walk eternity alone. As a general, I had long ago accepted my sentence. Yet now I have found Grace--the one thing my wounded heart cannot survive without. Sure, love can heal all wounds, but can it break a two-thousand-year-old curse?

Julian of Macedon

My Thoughts:

Julian is trapped in a book as a sex-slave for the eternity. He’s a demigod and made a few mistakes leading his brother to challenging him. Priapus is a god and for that has some advantage on Julian. So now he’s cursed for all eternity to live in a book and if called must pleasure women during one month.

Grace is a sex therapist and work with a lot of problems around her. She has Selena as her best-friend and her life is very boring, but she can’t trust men after one idiot used her after her parents died. Selena tried to help her and decided to Julian was the best choice. Grace doesn’t believe in the supernatural stuff, even after living years listening Selena talk about ghost and charms and potions.

This is the first book in the series and it’ really good. I felt light and happy while reading Julian fight for his freedom. Grace is a very normal person with some scars from the past, so she and Julian needed to learn how to trust and fall in love.

I loved the mythologycal part, as usual and Greek Gods always think of themselves better then anyone else. Most of their problems start with challenges and since they have powers thinks can escalate to very dangerous wars. Aphrodite is bitch and treats her sons like buddies without order. Since she the Goddess of Love, her sexcapades are lendarious and her babies suffer to accept their life without a mother figure and a few powers.

It was a good start for a series and I loved the interaction between the Gods and how they learned important feelings from the humans.

Gee, I can't imagine why he wouldn't respond to that. (Grace)”
