Hello lovelies! Please bear with me while I make the transition back from WordPress to Blogger. I need to go through and insert images and do some more tweaks.

In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war raging between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret bound of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Possessed by a deadly beast Rhage is the most dangerous of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.

Within the brotherhood, Rhage is the vampire with the strongest appetites. He's the best fighter, the quickest to act on his impulses, and the most voracious lover-for inside him burns ferocious curse cast by the Scribe Virgin. Owned by this dark side, Rhage fears the time when his inner dragon is unleashed, making him a danger to everyone around him.

Mary Luce, a survivor of many hardships is unwittingly thrown into the vampire world and reliant to Rhage's protection. With a life-threatening curse of her own, Mary is not looking for love. She lost her faith in miracles years ago. But when Rhage's intense animal attraction turns into something more emotional, he knows that he must make Mary his alone. And while their enemies close in, Mary fights desperately to gain life eternal with the one she loves.

The second in the series, I was really excited to start reading this book since we got to know the characters from Dark Lover. Rhage is having major issues keeping his curse under control. After a hellish night of fighting which leaves him weakened, he is zombie walking around one of the many parts of the manor, he stumbles across a delectable woman. Which he pins to a wall and licks.
Mary is both shocked as hell and the most turned on in her life when she is pinned to the wall by the most beautiful man she has ever laid eyes upon. Oblivious to the secret world that surrounds her, she knows that he is sick but doesn't know what is wrong and how to help him. After Mary's life is threatened, Rhage is Hell bent to protect the defenseless human. And in the process is determined to make her his. Little does he know Mary has a few kinks to throw into his plan.

Lover Eternal left me laughing at one point, then you would turn around and would have my heart wrenched out. This was one emotional book. Between Rhage's curse and Mary's illness, you can't help but have your soul cry out for these characters. This is what makes this series a success. Well that and their sexy as sin warriors. They just add that extra boost of testosterone that makes them the perfect specimen of a male or worth.

Seriously, if you haven't read this series you need to. And fully expect to need some tissues and caffeine because you will not be getting any sleep.

I need to find me a Rhage and take a turn with him in the sheets. Or wherever he would like to have a little 'fun' ;)
