He'll become a predator to protect his prey.
Marked By Blood
Lucian Roman knows he must stay away from Bronwyn Kettler for sanity's sake. Since feeding her his blood, he can think of nothing else but possessing her—fighting an uncontrollable desire to kill her, if he has to, and the vampire she has sworn to wed.

Bronwyn, a brilliant vampire genealogist, can never escape her connection to Lucian. He sustained her when she was starving. He still rules her dreams. And when the nights get dark enough, she still craves him. Though is essence courses through her body, she has found a true mate in someone else.

But when a dangerous enemy threatens Bronwyn, only Lucian—bound to her forever by blood—can save her life. Even if it means sacrificing his own.

From the start Lucian entranced me with his roller coaster of emotions. His connection to Bronwyn is mesmerizing. From previous books, the spark between the two has caught my attention and I couldn't wait to read their story. Lucian does what he wants when he wants and doesn't care what anyone else thinks, or at least that is how we perceive him to be in previous books. In Eternal Captive we get to see more into the person inside.

Bronwyn helps bring out the protector and lover in Lucian. Not wanting to be offered to the Breeding Male, Bronwyn tells everyone she found her true mate but Lucian can't help but feel an undeniable pull towards this particular female. With a turn of events that brings out the protector on Lucian, he and Bronwyn become closer and that's when the sparks really fly. Their chemistry was literally setting my Kindle screen on fire it was so intense.

Laura Wright has definitely outdone herself with this third installment in this series. I love Bronwyn and Lucian before but she made me invest my heart into this book. I can't wait to see where she takes this series with the new characters she has introduced. :)

Drama, action, and a sizzling tale of love. What's not to love about this story?

Love the fire between the two characters. It pulls you in and keeps you reading way late into the night.
