Workaholic TV producer Dylan Ives believes former singing sensation Syrene Malcolm holds the clue to finding his kidnapped son. A lost child herself, Syrene cares about the missing boy even though Dylan's personality is nothing short of rude. But Syrene refuses to unleash her dangerous siren's voice, even for a man who is impossible to deny...

MY THOUGHTS:

Dylan is desperate to find his son. So desperate that he is blindly following the hints from someone called The Librarian who leads him to the lost teen singer Syrene. All hints say that she is the one who will lead him to his son but how can he possibly put all his faith and hope into what this anonymous person tells him?

Pippa, artist formally know as Syrene, has found peace writing children's books in her little part of the world but it is quickly disrupted when Dylan comes waltzing into the daycare center where she reads them her books. Not wanting to appear in his tv show but doesn't want to disappoint the people in her town, she makes a deal with Dylan - find her family or she won't appear on the show. While being sent on a wild goose chase to another city, they come across an older woman who has some answers to Pippa's past.

Full of magical twists, this book will leave you enchanted and wanting more. I really liked how the book was about Sirens but it wasn't taken over by it. Yes, it was always there but wasn't in your face all the time. I got to know the characters without roadblocks. If you are looking for a new type of paranormal read. This is for you.

RATING:

Thoroughly enjoyed it

Even though it wasn't a smut filled book, it was still enjoyable. :)
