Master sergeant Hugh Franco lives only to save others, until he plucks beautiful attorney Amelia Bailey from the wreckage of an earthquake and finds himself embroiled in ways he never expected. On the run from kidnappers, Hugh must call on all his training to protect them. But Amelia's fiery touch threatens to crack his world—and his heart—wide open.

**Warning-a few spoilers**

Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. And yes, WOW. If someone can find Hugh and send him to me that would be great. Or a clone of him since he is now taken. Or just the guy on the cover, I'm not picky. ;)

Alright, down to business.

Hugh has been living his life on the edge to get away from a tragedy that took his wife and daughter's lives from him. He buries himself in helping find earthquake victims in the wreckage and finds Amelia. A smart, beautiful lawyer, who he can't stay away from. After she walks away from a rather steamy moment without any hesitation, he stumbles upon a situation that has him acting on instinct to save Amelia and her new nephew.

Amelia just can't catch a break. First she gets trapped in the rubble of her hotel building after an earthquake, then she gets kidnapped, and then she gets held at gunpoint. At least she has her sexy rescuer Hugh with her the whole way. Hugh may be a little damaged, but he is a good man that she can't get enough of. Now if they get out of all this alive, can she make a relationship with him work?

I LOVED this book. I usually lean towards military romance novels because I like men in uniform but this blew me out of the water. The writing and plot was incredible. The characters were so well put together I instantly loved them. This was my first Catherine Mann novel and it definitely won't be my last.

Amazing. Incredible. Spectacular. How many more adjectives do you want me to use before you go get the book?

Full of passion.
