Hello lovelies! Please bear with me while I make the transition back from WordPress to Blogger. I need to go through and insert images and do some more tweaks.

Avenger's Angel by Heather Killough-Walden

When four female angels were created for the archangels Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Azrael, a chaos spurned by jealousy erupted, and the archesses were secreted to Earth. The four favored archangels followed, prompting a search that has last millennia. But for Uriel, the former Archangel of Vengence, the search ends the moment he lays eyes on Eleanor Grange, his one true arches. Can he protect her from the danger lying in wait for her-and win her heart?

I have never read anything by this author but might I say, I am truly looking forward to more from her. Avenger's Angel was amazing. There were twists to the plot that I would have never thought of and loved. The hottie on the front doesn't hurt either. ;)

I loved Uriel's character. I am familiar with the archangels so I was curious to see how this would play out. I liked that the longer they stayed on earth, the more humanized they were becoming. I was a little surprised that Uriel chose to be a famous actor though. I would have assumed he would have wanted to stay in the shadows and out of the limelight so he doesn't attract to much attention. It did play well into the storyline though.

Eleanor was a great character to read. I loved how even though she was scared out of her wits, she would still stand up to/against/for what she believed was right. I love strong female characters and Ellie was no exception. She fit perfectly with Uriel and even gave him a run for his money.

I absolutely can not wait for the next in this series to come out. This book was freaking amazing! May even go back and read it again!

Freaking AMAZING! I loved it!

Get me a fan. It's getting a little warm in here ;)
